Tsunamis

What is a Tsunami?
Tsunamis are enormous and monstrous waves caused either by earthquakes, meteorites,
or volcanic eruptions beneath the sea.
How do tidal waves affect us?
Some tidal waves travel inland, they grow more powerful and higher until their height can
reach 100 feet plus it can kill hundreds of people.

Also, did you know that the actual name of tidal waves is oceanographers. "tidal waves"
are usually used to refer to tsunamis; this is wrong, tsunamis have nothing to do with tides.

However, damage can cause many problems a single tsunami experience can make someone
suffer dearly and it can take months or even years to rebuild from the destruction caused.
