Petedelete @ room 5 Ahipara school

Today we were lucky enough to have Petedelete visit room 5.
Pete talked to our class about his art, poetry and his journey to Christchurch.
He showed us some of his creations such as lovely blown glass giant wooden matches his carvings including an albatross, and Hu.

Pete's wife Karon brought in Gracie an amazing dog who was very friendly.
we got to write our own poems and here is mine:

Dogs
Little ears as soft as silk,
little teeth as white as milk,
little noses cool and pink,
little eyes that blink and blink,
little bodies small and round.
